Whether you’ve been part of a church for years, haven’t been for a long time, or have never set foot in one before, we’d love to welcome you. Whoever you are, whatever your story and wherever you are on your journey of faith, there is a place for you here. Coming on a Sunday
Our morning services are at 9:15am and 11am. Our Sunday evenings vary from week to week, so please check the calendar for details. The 11am service has a lively, family-friendly feel, with groups for children and young people. But everyone is welcome at either morning service.
You don’t need to know what to do or what to expect. Our worship is mostly contemporary, and everything you need is shown on the screen. Just come as you are. If you’d like us to look out for you on your first Sunday, you can Plan Your Visit and one of our welcome team will be ready to say hello. Or, if you’d prefer to see what a service is like first, you can watch our 11am livestream online.
Children are very welcome
Children are an important part of our church family. During the 11am service they can join one of our age-specific groups, or stay with you throughout the service — whichever works best for you. Babies, toddlers, noise and wriggles are all welcome too — we have a no-shushing policy - and the service is shown in our foyer-cafe space too. We want children and adults with additional needs to feel fully included, and our building is wheelchair accessible with hearign assitence available.
Stay for refreshments!
Tea and coffee are served at around 10:30am, between our two morning services. It’s a relaxed opportunity to meet people and say hello.
Getting here
Parking at the church is limited, but there are public car parks nearby. If you are parking at Waitrose, note that parkign is restricted to 90 minutes. Free parking is also available at Christchurch Junior School from 8am–1pm, around a 5–10 minute walk from the church.
More than Sundays
There’s lots happening at CBC throughout the week, with activities and groups for different ages and stages of life. Have a look around the website and see what might interest you. Most of all, we’d simply love to meet you. Come along, take things at your own pace, and make yourself at home.
