Womens Ministry

We want to encourage the spiritual growth of all women, alongside building lasting relationships across generations.  Throughout the year we run informal, friendly events for women of all ages.  The events explore our Christian faith, usually with a short talk from a speaker, with opportunity for discussion in small groups or private reflection.

There is always good quality coffee, a wide selection of teas, plus fruit and pastries (sometimes Amanda's home made treats) with gluten free options too.

Every morning event provides childcare.  Children are given the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed, unstructured, play session in the main church hall.  A wide variety of activities are available for the children to explore, from table-tennis, giant volleyball, crafts, and of course snacks, all supported by some amazing dads (DBS checked and safeguarding trained).  There is no need to book childcare, but if you know you are planning to bring your children, please let Marie Delgado or any of the team members know.

Events are usually on a Saturday morning from 10am to 11.30am in the Christian Centre.  For full details of our 2019 Calendar see below.

Saturday 29th June, 2pm-3.30pm at Church Camp - CANCELLED

We are really sorry, but the Women’s Ministry event at Church Camp has been cancelled. We were excited to try a new Sharing the Journey event at church camp this year. We wanted to welcome those who were usually not keen on water fights and kayaking on a lake, to come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and quiet reflection time with other church family members.

Sadly, our plans have been interrupted this year and we are unable to run the planned event. We have made lots of preparations, and so we are ready to try again next year.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

God Bless

The Sharing the Journey Team
