Womens Ministry

We want to encourage the spiritual growth of all women, alongside building lasting relationships across generations.  Throughout the year we run informal, friendly events for women of all ages.  The events explore our Christian faith, usually with a short talk from a speaker, with opportunity for discussion in small groups or private reflection.

There is always good quality coffee, a wide selection of teas, plus fruit and pastries (sometimes Amanda's home made treats) with gluten free options too.

Every morning event provides childcare.  Children are given the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed, unstructured, play session in the main church hall.  A wide variety of activities are available for the children to explore, from table-tennis, giant volleyball, crafts, and of course snacks, all supported by some amazing dads (DBS checked and safeguarding trained).  There is no need to book childcare, but if you know you are planning to bring your children, please let Marie Delgado or any of the team members know.

Events are usually on a Saturday morning from 10am to 11.30am in the Christian Centre.  For full details of our 2019 Calendar see below.

Reflecting on God’s Promises - Join the Sharing the Journey group, for a relaxed afternoon event in the beautiful surroundings of Headlands Centre (near Ringwood).  We have allocated a quiet secluded spot, by the side of the lake near shaded woodland.

While the rest of the Church family enjoy kayaking on the lake and children’s activities, we will be sharing some quiet time together, as we reflect on God’s promises.  Prayer tables will be available for quiet reflection alone, or in small groups.  There will be plenty of chairs to sit and relax.  Due to the location of this event, all women and girls on the camp will be welcome to come and join the quiet time for as long as they wish.

No booking necessary, just turn up and join us on Saturday afternoon.

The location is about 300 yards from the car park across a field.  The terrain is uneven, being a grass field, but it is a flat gradient.  If you have any concerns, please contact the Sharing the Journey team or the church office.

Sadly if the weather is wet, this event will not go ahead.  We will send out an email by midday if there is any doubt regarding the weather.   We can call you if you let us know that you would prefer a call rather than an email.

Stay on for the evening BBQ and Barndance
You do not need to book for the Sharing the Journey event.  However, if you wish to stay and join the rest of the camp for the Barn Dance and BBQ from 5pm, please book in separately, you would be very welcome.  Go to the booking forms for Church Camp on the website, or the paper forms at the back of the church.

God Bless
