Sharing the Journey is a welcoming community where women of all ages and stages of faith come together to receive spiritual nourishment and grow in faith. Our prayer is to empower and equip women by providing a supportive space for connection, encouragement, and growth. In 2025, our focus will be 'Who is our Source?' - seeking to deepen our relationship with Christ as the foundation of our faith. Guided by the words of Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT): 'And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness'. We strive to build lives that are deeply rooted in Him.
During the year, there are a various opportunities to gather together, and you are welcome to come to any and all of them!
Create
A social and creative gathering, complemented by a short reflective moment of gratitude. Held on bimonthly Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, this event welcomes people of all skill levels. Whether you're new to crafting, an experienced creator eager to try aomething different, or someone simply looking to enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation, there's a place for you. A small £5 fee applies if you wish to participate in the craft activity. Please sign up via ChurchSuite or contact the office to join.
Roots
A time of spiritual reflection and growth set in the peaceful, spacious environment of our church. This gathering offers a chance to listen to an inspiring speaker delve into God’s word, followed by time foe personal reflection, discussion, and worship through song. Roots meets quarterly on Saturday mornings from 9.45am to 11:45am.
Stretch & Reflect
A calm, guided session of gentle stretches, prayer, and reflection on God’s Word. It's a moment to centre ourselves and focus on the Lord amidst the business of life. Join us for this tranquil experience at Church Camp, located by the peaceful lakeside - far removed from the distractions of daily life.
Deeper
A Bible study for mothers of children from secondary school to pre-school age, held every Monday during term-time at 12.45pm. With age-appropriate toys available for young children, Deeper offers a refreshing, encouraging time to share, pray and grow together.
