Facilities Lead
Christchurch Baptist Church is a thriving church in the centre of the historic coastal town of Christchurch. In January 2026, we are looking forward to moving into our brand new home for mission and ministry. We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual as our Faciltiies Lead.
The Facilities Lead plays a key role in ensuring that Christchurch Baptist Church’s buildings and grounds are safe, welcoming, and well maintained. By stewarding our facilities with care and professionalism, by developing a capable team of volunteers who can serve with confidence and independence, and by leading third-party contractors, the Facilities Lead enables both church ministries and wider community use, helping us live out our mission of hospitality and service. Responsibilities include facilities management, basic grounds maintenance, room setup and user management.
Key to the role is embracing our vision and core values. The post-holder will hold a significant role in our existing staff team.
