The Prayer Course 2 is a five week journey which confronts the problem of unanswered prayer. Following the success of the first Prayer Course, these five sessions go deeper, provoking honest conversation around the hardest and most personal questions we all ask about prayer. You do not need to have completed The Prayer Course 1 to join us, but you might want to watch the content of this course first by clicking here.
We are running an online daytime course (Monday's, 2pm) and an online evening course (Sunday's, 7.30pm). When you sign up, you will be sent a Zoom meeting link for the appropriate course. To avoid the Bank Holiday, session 04 of the daytime course will be on Tuesday 04 May, 2pm.

The course is split into 5 sessions...
- God On Mute - Engaging The Silence - Kicking off the course with an honest look at the four big questions we all ask when confronted with suffering. With special guest, author Bob Sorge.
- Maundy Thursday: How? - In this session we address questions of the heart: seeking to find purpose in pain and strategies for dealing with disappointment. With special guest, TV presenter Simon Thomas.
- Good Friday: Why? - In this session we wrestle with the some of the most difficult intellectual questions: why does an all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful God allow suffering? With special guest, 24-7 Prayer leader Alain Emerson.
- Holy Saturday: Where? - Exploring the questions we ask when we find ourselves trapped between the pain of Good Friday and the miracles of Easter Sunday. With special guest Eritrean gospel singer Helen Berhane.
- Easter Sunday: When? - Celebrating the hope we have in the resurrection of Jesus and anticipating the day when all our prayers will find their answer in his return. With special guests Sammy Greig and Ladan Nouri, imprisoned for her faith.
Each session includes a video (which we will watch online together) and then discussion groups (for which we will break into small online breakout groups). There's no pressure to take part in the discussion...you are welcome to listen to the discussion of others. The Prayer Course has been developed by Pete Greig and his team at 24-7 Prayer.
